Kaaren’s Story

Today, just around three short months from the day I walked into the Gifting Tree office in Ashland, Oregon and met Jack Leishman, I am on the road to recovery and health. I am 67 years young now and in much better health now than I was when I first met Jack.

Having Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and being overweight is still available to me if I choose to continue on this road. However, because of the knowledge I have received as a gift through the concepts formed by the folks who created the Gifting Tree I have a real choice to recover and get back my health. Sometimes, I sit and wonder, why wouldn’t one choose health, when there is such a simple alternative. The answer, of course, is understanding nutrition, the benefits of which are immeasurable, simple and actually less expensive or at least as expensive as choosing to eat and drink the foods and liquids that are not beneficial to our bodies.

During this process, it stands to reason that once you are on this road you become more active both physically and mentally. Actually they go hand in hand. I see myself, engaging in water aerobics twice a week and swimming one other time each week. Yesterday, I saw that I can attend a Tai Chi class for seniors and am going to look into that option as well. The simple fact that I have lost 16 pounds which has me physically to get up and go.

I am living differently because the I have been introduced to a way of life that works. Moving on in ways I never dreamed was possible for me, my belief system was very limited and now is limitless.

None of the above would have been possible for me were it not for the Gifting Tree and its philosophy. Opportunity for someone to share their gifts, in this case Nutritional Therapy has vastly changed my life. By its nature, direction and proportion, I am a living inspiration to others;  the obvious difference of how I have changed inwardly is manifested to the outer world. The inspiration is replenished daily by the way I take care of myself and care for others as a result.

My personal gifts are much different than that of a Nutritional Therapist; the challenge now is for me to pass my gifts along to those in need who are willing to accept them as I learn to graciously offer them. One can see there is true, unlimited value in the concepts and carry through of the Gifting Tree.

Nature, naturally understands the art of giving and receiving;  what we have for what we need shouldn’t be that foreign to man.

Thank you, Gifting Tree and Jack.
